In our family, we have five children—mine, my sister’s, and my brother’s—and despite their different personalities, we noticed the same pattern. Whenever we dressed them in synthetic or heavy festive outfits, they would start adjusting, feeling irritated, or asking to change within a few hours. Some would even avoid wearing those clothes altogether. At first, we thought it was normal, but it kept repeating—beautiful outfits, yet uncomfortable children. We found ourselves constantly choosing between how they looked and how they felt, and that didn’t feel right. After trying different brands, fabrics, and styles, nothing truly worked across all five children. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just our problem, but something many mothers face. So I decided to create what we couldn’t find. Dames & Tots was born from real experiences and real needs—to offer soft, breathable pure cotton kidswear that keeps children comfortable through play, rest, and every moment in between.
